Anthropology Student Organization: Integrated Anthropology Association

Members of Integrated Anthropology Association

Students can become involved in several Anthropology student organizations. You can learn more about Integrated Anthropology Association from the 2021-2022 executive team!

Integrated Anthropology Association (IAA) is a space for students, regardless of their major, to explore anthropology. We do this by hosting guest speakers, leading engaging talks on the subfields of anthropology, and hosting a range of off-campus anthropology related field trips to museums and cultural heritage sites.

Recently, IAA did a work day with the Amah Mutsun tribal band at Pie Ranch where members got to know each other better while giving back to native peoples. In addition to educational activities, we strive to provide a space for students to get to know each other. Throughout each quarter, we host multiple social events ranging from bagel socials, bonfires, game nights, and pizza parties.

We are looking for dedicated students who would like to continue furthering the social and academic goals of IAA for the 2022-2023 academic year. If you are interested in becoming a member of the executive council, please fill out the Google form. It's a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic team while you meet and help other undergrad students interested in anthropology.
