I am interested in developing critical pedagological practices that give students an oppurtunity to engage in mutlti-disciplinary learning across the social and biological sciences. Currently, I lead a small group of undergraduate students from both STEM and non-STEM fields who volunteer with the Amah Mutsun Land Trust biweekly. I am additionally working with other graduate students and faculty personnel to develop a structured summer internship program for first generation POC undergraduates who are broadly interested in pursuing careers in environmental management, restoration ecology, and plant science.
