Conservation rhetoric and practice.
I am interested in conservation rhetoric and practice, in particular the way it names and orders locations. My professional experience has included employment with various land management agencies, The U.S. Forest Service, the National Park Service, and the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, which has given me an appreciation for the way conservation schemes work out in arenas of policy and diplomacy. I see my research as an attempt to bridge communication between the social and natural sciences. |
