My project investigates the production and circulation of health knowledge at the US-Mexico border. I am working with the San Diego public health department and various non-profits on both sides of the border to see how politics and immigration categories are related to the development of health policies.
I grew up in the woods of Connecticut, not quite out of the shadow of New York. After high school I lived in the Netherlands for a year as an exchange student. Undergrad in Anthropology at Princeton. Since then bounced around to Chicago, Connecticut, Lake Tahoe, and Santa Cruz. Found time to bicycle across the country. Now living in San Diego. |
